ARE YOU READY TO TURN HEADS WITH THIS NATURAL LOOKING HIGH PONY?
STEP 1: MINI-PONYTAIL
Create yourself a mini ponytail in the exact position you want your finished ponytail to sit at.
STEP 2:ONE-CLIP PIECE
Apply four of your one-clip pieces going around the ponytail, kind of in a square pattern.
STEP 3: ADD YOUR HAIR
Now, add a bit more of your own hair and hold it in place temporarily with a hair clip.
* There’s no exact amount but an inch or so should do just fine.
* brush it backward
STEP 4:TWO-CLIP PIECE
Alright, time to add a two clip piece going over the ponytail and then one upside down under your ponytail.
STEP 5: MORE NATURAL HAIR
Ok, time for more of your hair, so remove the hair clip and add more. Re-apply the hair clip afterward.
* Be sure to brush between each layer of hair to keep it sleek, smooth, and in position.
STEP 6: THREE-CLIP PIECE!
Ok, ladies, your ponytail should be coming together nicely, you’re almost done! Add a three-clip piece above your ponytail and one under, the same way you did the two clip pieces.
* So, at this point you can stop adding clips or add a few more for extra thickness but this should be good for the average head of hair!
STEP 7:YOUR REMAINING HAIR
Remove that hair clip once and for all and brush all the rest of your hair back and up into your now thick ponytail.
STEP 8:SLEEK IT!
Get your ponytail as sleek as possible before putting on your elastic band.
* Try using hair oil to help sleek that pony down!
STEP 9:HIDE ELASTIC
Hide the elastic band by wrapping a small section of hair from your fab new ponytail around the elastic and hold it in place with a spritz of hairspray and a hair pin.
* If you have layers, you may have some hairs sticking out and causing a ruckus, simply use a flat iron to tame those wild pieces and your good to go!
