Let me just tell you, you are about to get some serious cool points from your friends for this professional looking braid. Not only does it look like you went to a salon to get it done but it’s super easy and quick.
Another cool thing about braided styles in general is you can wear them to bed and the next morning you have got some fabulous waves going on! Talk about saving time, lol.
- Your own beautiful natural hair
- Your choice of Estelle’s Secret Clip-In hair extensions (if needed, 17 amazing colors to choose from)
- Elastic bands
- Hairpin
- Hairspray
READY TO SLAY THE HAIR GAME? GREAT! LET’S GO…
STEP 1:BOTH SIDES
Take a small section of hair from each side of your hair.
STEP 2:CONNECT TWISTS IN THE MIDDLE
Loosely twist each section and connect them in the middle with an elastic band. You should have created a little ponytail in the middle.
* It may be easier to twist the first section and hold it in place with a hairpin while you twist the other side.
STEP 3:LOOSEN UP!
Once you’ve connected the two small twists loosen them up a bit more for added fullness.
STEP 4:COLLECT THREE SECTIONS
Your next step is to collect the three medium sections of hair you will be using to create the braid.
* The middle section should have the mini-ponytail you made in it.
TIME TO START BRAIDING!
STEP 5:START BRAIDING
Braid by overlapping each section towards the middle and adding more of your hair as you move downward.
* Once you get past your bottom hairline, it only gets easier from there 🙂
STEP 6:FINISH YOUR BRAID
Continue to braid to the end of your hair and secure it with an elastic band.
STEP 7:PLUMP IT UP
Go over your spectacular braid and loosen it up all over, even the top, to give it a full and thick appearance.
STEP 8:SPRAY AND SLAY
The only thing left to do now is to add a touch of hairspray and you are ready to slay the hair game!
If you don’t already know how to braid, this style may take some practice but I know you can do it! It took me some time to get the hang of it but once I did, I was braiding everything in sight, haha! The good news about this particular style is the braid is supposed to be loose instead of tight so getting it perfect is not required, I promise it will still look great!
