Sometimes it’s easy to forget but I am here to remind you that within each of you lies a goddess. A goddess that is uniquely her own and destined for greatness. I understand that knowing this is not exactly the same as feeling it, but a lot of the times by simply looking that way on the outside, it can remind us of what lies on the inside. Let’s get you started on that path by creating this simple yet gorgeous Greek Goddess Braided Bun. This look works best with longer hair so if you don’t already have it, go ahead a put in your Estelle’s Secret clip-in hair extensions and we will start this look from there!
- Long Hair Ribbon (one’s with pretty flowers look more goddess-like)
- Elastic Band
- Plenty of hairpins
ALRIGHT GODDESS’, LET’S GET STARTED!
STEP 1:PONYTAIL
Make a middle to low ponytail, whatever your preference!
STEP 2:ATTACH YOUR RIBBON
Attach a pretty flowered ribbon to the top of your ponytail using a hairpin.
STEP 3: THREE SECTIONS
Separate your ponytail into three sections in preparation for braiding.
* The two side sections should have the ribbon coming down as part of them.
STEP 4:START BRAIDING
Go ahead and braid your hair all the way down to the end and use an elastic band to hold it together.
*Clip any ribbon that is hanging past your ponytail.
STEP 5: LOOSEN
Try to loosen up your braid to make it appear thicker, this will look really nice when creating your bun.
STEP 6:WRAP IT!
Ok, start wrapping your braid around the elastic creating a bun.
*Use as many hairpins as you need to hold your bun in place.
STEP 7: THE END
Secure the end of your braid using a hairpin, hit it with some hairspray, and your fancy goddess look is complete!
