Ok, I get it! Sometimes curling your own hair can take up enough time without having to worry about curling your hair extensions too, right? Well, I have the perfect solution for you! Check out this quick and easy way to get your extensions curled without taking up too much more time than curling your natural hair. Once you learn how this is done, you’ll be curling your hair and your extensions a lot more often! Let me show you how!
- Your choice of Estelle’s Secret Clip-In Hair Extensions (17 gorgeous colors to choose from)
- Smaller sized curling wand
- Hair clips
- Flat surface
TIME TO GET THE CURLS OF YOUR DREAMS IN JUST MINUTES!
PART 1: CURLING YOUR NATURAL HAIR AND YOUR ESTELLE’S SECRET CLIP-IN HAIR EXTENSIONS
STEP 1:CURL YOUR HAIR
Curl your natural hair using whatever sized curling wand you prefer.
* Using a small sized curling wand will give you more defined curls with loads of texture while using a bigger sized curling wand will result in fuller, bigger, bouncier and more natural curls!
* Remember to curl horizontally for this style.
STEP 2:RELEASE
For this curling method, release each curl into your hand and pin them to your head
STEP 3:CURL YOUR EXTENSIONS
Time to curl your Estelle’s Secret clip-in extensions. The easiest way to do this is by picking up one clip at a time, fold the weft over to the other end a few times, and then curl the hair.
* Release your clip-ins onto a flat surface to cool.
PART 2: AFTER YOUR NATURAL HAIR AND THE HAIR EXTENSIONS ARE ALL CURLED AND COMPLETELY COOLED, IT’S TIME TO APPLY THE EXTENSIONS!
* You definitely want to finger comb between each layer of hair to blend and separate rather than using a brush. This will help to keep those gorgeous curls intact!
STEP 1: BACK FIRST!
Let’s work with the back half first so go ahead and put the sides into an elastic band or clip to keep them out of the way.
* You will be using the three clip pieces for this section.
STEP 2: PART THE BOTTOM
Ok, start by making a part at the bottom leaving out about 2-3 cm of your natural hair, pin up the rest while you apply the first three clip piece.
STEP 3: THREE CLIP PIECE
Add your first three clip piece.
STEP 4: ANOTHER LAYER
Add another layer of your natural hair.
STEP 5: REPEAT
Repeat this process until you have used all 4 three clip pieces.
* Time to move to the sides! For each side, you will be using 1 two clip piece and 2 one clip pieces.
STEP 6:START THE SIDES
On one side, starting at the bottom, leave out a couple inches of your natural hair.
STEP 7:TWO CLIP PIECE
Apply 1 two clip piece to your hair, don’t forget to finger comb between each layer!
STEP 8:SECOND LAYER
Add another layer of your natural hair.
STEP 9:ONE CLIP PIECE
Apply a one clip piece, then add more of your natural hair, and finally one last one piece clip.
STEP 10:OTHER SIDE
Repeat the same process on the remaining side.
STEP 11: FINGER COMB
Finger comb all the hair together blending all of the hair to complete this fabulous look full of body and dimension.
